One of my favourite features of the MX-30 is its driveability. Most electric cars lose the traditional driving sensations, but the MX-30 still feels like a great car to drive.

The Mazda MX-30 introduces a new era of automotive innovation with its cutting-edge electric technology and hybrid options, aiming to revolutionise how we drive. Available as a pure EV, Mazda’s first all-electric car, or a unique plug-in hybrid, both variants have been awarded the maximum five-star safety rating by Euro NCAP for ultimate peace of mind when it comes to safety.
The pure electric Mazda MX-30 features Mazda’s e-SKYACTIV drive technology with zero emissions, whilst the R-EV uses an 830cc Rotary engine to generate an additional charge, offering a uniquely smooth and seamless driving experience.
In 2022, Mazda updated the MX-30 to feature enhanced charging power, reducing the rapid charging time from 20% to 80% battery in 26 minutes. The MX-30 also features new interior and exterior colour schemes and three optional trim levels: Prime-Line, Exclusive-Line and Makoto. The Plug-in Hybrid R-EV offers one additional specification line: Edition R, which celebrates the return of the rotary engine with striking design highlights.
