The Mazda2 Hybrid is the ideal choice for eco-conscious drivers who want to reduce their emissions without changing their day-to-day habits. Unlike a plug-in hybrid, there’s no need to charge the Mazda2 Hybrid — simply fill the tank as you would with a conventional petrol car. The advanced hybrid system features a self-charging lithium-ion battery that regenerates energy during braking, allowing for fully electric driving in certain conditions and greater efficiency overall.

All models are powered by a 1.5-litre three-cylinder petrol engine paired with a 79bhp electric motor, delivering a combined output of 114bhp. The result is smooth, responsive performance that feels just as at home in the city as it does on the open road.

There are four trim levels to choose from: Centre-Line, Exclusive-Line, Homura, and Homura Plus. Every version is equipped with a 7-inch infotainment display, Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™, and a range of advanced driver assistance systems. Safety is a clear priority, with features such as Lane Tracing Assist, Driver Attention Alert, a Pre-Collision System with pedestrian and cyclist detection, and a 5-star Euro NCAP safety rating as standard.
